Rock and roll is good for the heart

By deepgroup

What do kids, eyeliner, fake tattoos, and doctors handing out wads of cash all have in common? The American Heart Association’s 2008 Heart Ball, that’s what. For the past several months, deep was involved in helping the AHA combat congenital heart disease in children by donating our creative abilities to develop the event’s Heart of Rock and Roll theme.

The people who attended were encouraged to dress as their favorite rock icons, and they were told that being there would solidify their place as an icon for the children who would ultimately benefit from the financial support that was being raised at the event. Approximately 500 people donned their best leather and lace outfits, helping to raise thousands of dollars for the American Heart Association.

Of course, the deep peeps who were there were seen in rare form — some had fake tattoos, others were able to pull their outfits straight out of their closet. We’ll let you figure that one out.
